  27.      In August, in Montreal, the fourth annual Amiga Convention
  28. will take place!  This convention will gather the Amiga community
  29. together from all across the world to show its support for the
  30. Amiga!  We hope to make this show an event in the long fight to
  31. make the Amiga a well known computer in North America again.

  39. WHY:  We are putting on the Amiga Convention '96 (AC 96) to
  40.       support our favorite computer, the Amiga!  We feel that
  41.       for too long, the Amiga has been ignored, and now that
  42.       the Amiga is owned by people who actually will support
  43.       it well, we want to help them out in any way we can.
  44.       We also want to get a lot of people together to have a
  45.       really cool time!

  48.        over 1,000 people, not including the surrounding rooms.

  96. COST FOR RENTING TABLES : $150 - 1 day,  $250 - 2 days, for
  97.                           one table of 6' by 3' and chairs.
  98.                           These tables are aimed towards
  99.                           dealers and developers.

  102. FREE TABLES:  We will also have free tables at AC'96, for
  103.               anyone who wishes to BRING THEIR AMIGA, whether
  104.               to show off something cool, or just to help
  105.               someone else who might need one at the time.
  106.               However, at the free tables you get less space
  107.               than the pay tables, it is first-come first-
  108.               serve, and you cannot sell products at the
  109.               tables!  That is strictly for the rented tables.

  112. ACCESABILITY:  The show is easily accesable by bus and subway,
  113.                as well as having lots of parking space in the
  114.                vicinity for cars.
  115.  
  116.  
  117. WHY DEALERS SHOULD COME:  At AC'96, we offer tables at an
  118.                           incredibly rate, a price which
  119.                           includes electrical outlets and
  120.                           electricity. You also get the
  121.                           chance to show and sell your
  122.                           wares to a crowd of Amiga owners,
  123.                           all of whom have money to spend
  124.                           and are influenced by how big a
  125.                           prescence you have at the show.

  127. WHY PEOPLE SHOULD COME:   AC'96 will have stands from many
  128.                           major dealers and developers. It will
  129.                           also have a lot of friendly Amiga
  130.                           owners there, plus a booming sound
  131.                           system and TV setup that will show
  132.                           crazy demos and products. It will be
  133.                           a wild good time for all!
